at the Richard Rodgers Theatre

Rob Evan will take over the role of Kerchak( the gorilla tribal leader), in the Walt Disney production of Tarzan, from March 28 through May 6. He inherits the ape suit( tastefully taken in) of Shuler Hensley, who's off to the Westport Playhouse to star in the John Kander-Fred Ebb musical All About Us.

Mr. Evan is no stranger to Broadway. He was in Little Shop of Horrors, Dance of the Vampires, Jekyll and Hyde and Les Miserables. Off-Broadway, he appeared in Johnny Guitar and The Prince and the Pauper.

Tarzan opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre(226 West 46th) on May 10, 2006. The show is directed by Bob Crowley, with songs by Phil Collins. (Tickets can be obtained by calling 212 307 4100, or visiting
