Hello Christine Lahti, Annie Potts, Jimmy Smits, Ken Stott, Goodbye Marcia Gay Harden, Hope Davis, Jeff Daniels and James Gandolfini. In other words, the new cast for God of Carnage has been announced.

The newcomers will begin performances at the Bernard B. Jacobs, beginning November 17. The original Broadway cast will play their last performance on November 14.The play, written by Yasmina Reza , is directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus.  It's  about two couples who meet to discuss a playground incident concerning their two sons and its aftermath.

Lahti will be playing Veronica, Potts takes on the role of Annette, Smits plays Alan and Stott will be Michael.

Two points of interest: Harden won a Tony for her performnce as Veronica; Stott is reprising his role of Michael, which he played in the highly successful London production.
