at The Cort Theatre

Radio Golf, the last play in the late August Wilson's ten-play "Pittsburgh Hill" cycle, will begin previews April 20, at the Cort Theatre, for an official May 8 opening. Kenny Leon will direct.

The show stars Tonya Pinkins and Harry Lennix. Recent additions to the cast include Anthony Chisolm, John Earl Jelks and James Williams The latter three have appeared in all seven regional productions of Radio Golf.

The play is set in 1997, and concerns itself with a powerful real estate developer, Harmond Wilks(Lennix), who aspires to be Pittsburgh's first black major. But complications crop up to cause some rethinking of his career path. Pinkins plays Mame, Wilks' wife.. David Gallo will handle sets, Dan Moses Schreier, the sound, Donald Holder the lighting and Susan Hilferty the costumes.
