  Coram Boy

Even though Coram Boy was an expensive "flop", arriving on Broadway and departing in a heart beat, somebody liked the show. Following a different path, Spring Awakening, which transferred to Broadway, has been an enormous hit picking up 11 Tony nominations and is also well-loved. In other words, the first-ever Broadway Fan Favorite Awards for Play and Musical went to Coram Boy and Spring Awakening. It was voted by the public in a special online poll at yesterday's Stars in the Alley event in Shubert Alley.
