at the Lyceum

  Norbert Leo Butz

Is He Dead?, the David Ives adaptation of the recently discovered Mark Twain novel, has announced the full cast for the production. The show will begin previews at the Lyceum, on November 8, 2007. The opening is set for November 29. The director will be two-time Tony Award winner Michael Blakemore.

Joining the already announced star Norbert Leo Butz are Jeremy Bobb, Mary Louise Burke, Patricia Conolly, Jenn Gambatese, Byron Jennings, Michael McGrath, John McMartin, David Pittu, Bridget Regan, and Tom Alan Robbins.

The plot revolves around a deception: A struggling artist intrigues to have himself believed deceased- thus driving up the price of his paintings. Moral, ethical and legal questions are the least of the issues raised by his actions.
